Books have called to me for as long as I can remember.

From a very young age, I was drawn to everything about them — the feel of a book in my hands, the smell of the pages, the quiet magic of turning one page after another and getting lost in a story. Reading was never just a hobby for me. It was a doorway. A comfort. A teacher. A place to discover new worlds, new voices, and new ways of understanding life.

As I grew older, my love for books only deepened. I believe reading is one of the most rewarding habits a person can build. A good book can entertain us, challenge us, comfort us, and change us. Even fiction has something to teach its readers.

When it came time to decide what I truly wanted to do with my career, I asked myself a simple question: what do I love above all else?

The answer was easy.

Books.

I had always wanted to be a writer, and I still continue to write. But over time, I realized that my deeper passion was not only in telling my own stories. It was in helping other authors tell theirs. I wanted to help writers move forward, strengthen their craft, and bring more intention, confidence, and professionalism to their work.

That is what led me to Matter House Publishing.

Matter House exists because stories matter. Craft matters. Authors matter. My goal is to build more than a publishing company or a list of services. I want Matter House to become a trusted resource authors can return to again and again as they grow — a place where serious writers can find honest guidance, encouragement, practical support, and people who believe in the work it takes to succeed.
